SZA

Solána Imani Rowe, known professionally as SZA, is an American R&B singer and songwriter celebrated for her vulnerable lyricism, genre-defying arrangements, and distinct vocal delivery. Born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey, SZA self-released early EPs "See.SZA.Run" and "S" before becoming Top Dawg Entertainment's (TDE) first female signee in 2013. Her 2017 major-label debut album, "Ctrl," earned five Grammy nominations and established her as a major voice in contemporary R&B. After five years of anticipation, SZA released her sophomore album "SOS" in December 2022. The project spent 10 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200, spawned the global #1 single "Kill Bill," and yielded four Grammy Awards at the 66th Annual Ceremony, reinforcing her role as R&B's premier modern innovator.
