Roddy Ricch

Rodrick Alphonso Moore Jr., known professionally as Roddy Ricch, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Compton, California. One of modern rap's most naturally gifted melodic performers, Roddy Ricch combines the melodic instincts of R&B with the gritty authenticity of West Coast rap in a way that feels both emotionally resonant and commercially irresistible. His 2018 debut EP "Feed Tha Streets II" and the viral hit "Die Young" caught widespread attention. His debut studio album "Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial" (2019) was one of the most commercially successful rap albums of its era, debuting at #1 and featuring "The Box," which spent 11 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 — the longest run at number one for a rap song from a debut album in chart history. His 2022 album "Live Life Fast" confirmed his status as one of rap's most reliable hitmakers, while also demonstrating a more mature artistic sensibility.
