Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, is a rapper and activist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of rap's most passionate and emotionally raw performers, Meek Mill built his career on relentless work ethic, powerful freestyles, and a bellowing delivery that became his sonic signature. Signed to Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group, Meek released the critically acclaimed "Dreams and Nightmares" (2012) album, featuring an epic title track that became one of rap's most iconic stadium anthems, used by sports teams worldwide. His "DC4" (2016) mixtape and subsequent beef with Drake became one of rap's most followed public feuds. However, Meek's legacy extends far beyond music: his 2017 imprisonment on questionable probation violations sparked a national conversation about criminal justice reform. Upon his release, he became one of the most vocal and effective advocates for criminal justice reform in the country, co-founding the REFORM Alliance. His 2018 album "Championships" debuted at #1 and was a triumphant declaration of his resilience and purpose.
