Lil Uzi Vert

Symere Bysil Woods, known professionally as Lil Uzi Vert, is a rapper and singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of the most distinctive voices in contemporary hip-hop, Uzi built a devoted following through a unique blend of melodic trap, emo-rap, and rock influences, earning comparisons to both Lil Wayne and Marilyn Manson. His breakout singles "Money Longer" and "XO TOUR Llif3" — the latter becoming one of the defining songs of its era — established him as a generational voice for youth alienation and emotional extremity. His 2020 album "Eternal Atake" broke Apple Music streaming records upon release. Uzi's aesthetic is as impactful as his music: his fashion, jewelry (including a $24 million pink diamond formerly embedded in his forehead), and gender-fluid styling have made him one of music's most discussed personalities. In 2023, he released "Pink Tape," a sci-fi-themed opus that further pushed the boundaries of rap's sonic possibilities, debuting at number one and earning widespread critical acclaim.
