Imagine Dragons—Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, and Daniel Platzman—formed in Las Vegas in 2008 and signed to Interscope Records after building a following through relentless local touring. Their debut "Night Visions" (2012) produced "Radioactive," which set the then-record for most weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 (87 weeks) and earned a Grammy for Best Rock Performance. "Smoke + Mirrors" (2015), "Evolve" (2017)—the best-selling rock album globally that year—and "Origins" (2018) each produced multiple international top-10 singles including "Thunder" and "Natural," which became ubiquitous in sports broadcasts and advertising globally. "Mercury – Acts 1 & 2" (2021–2022) continued their commercial dominance. They have sold over 75 million records worldwide. Front man Dan Reynolds founded the LOVELOUD Foundation supporting LGBTQ+ youth mental health, donating millions annually to suicide prevention resources. The band has performed at the Super Bowl, Olympic Games, and consistently headlines the world's largest music festivals.
