2 Chainz

Tauheed Epps, known professionally as 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi), is a rapper, television personality, and entrepreneur from College Park, Georgia. One of rap's most entertaining and commercially reliable artists, 2 Chainz reinvented his career in 2011 — after years as the Playaz Circle member — by rebranding with a new name and an irresistibly quotable, self-confident style that earned him one of the most devoted followings in hip-hop. His debut album "Based on a T.R.U. Story" (2012) debuted at #1 and featured the massive hit "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West. Known for his flamboyant personality, distinctive voice, and willingness to appear on virtually any collaboration, 2 Chainz became one of rap's most ubiquitous features. His album series "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" (2017) and "Rap or Go to the League" (2019, executive produced by LeBron James) demonstrated his artistic range. Beyond music, he has run a successful restaurant chain and engaged in Georgia state-level political advocacy for education and criminal justice reform.
